Privacy Policy

What data we process

  • Account: your email address and name (when you sign in with Apple, Google, or email).
  • Health profile: age, sex, height, weight, goals, dietary preferences, allergies and health restrictions you enter.
  • Food records: photos of meals and labels, scanned barcodes, text descriptions, the resulting nutrition analyses, and your consumption diary.
  • Technical data: anonymized analytics events about app usage and crash reports.

How we use your data

We use your data solely to provide the app’s features: analyzing meals, scoring how healthy a food is for your personal profile, warning you about allergens, and keeping your diary. Analytics data is used to improve the app.

Who we share data with

To operate the app we use vetted processors in these categories:

  • AI analysis provider — Google (Gemini API, operated by Google LLC / Google Ireland Ltd.) processes data when you use the AI features: photos of meals and labels, food descriptions you write, messages you send to the AI Advisor, and — so that answers can be personalized — your first name, age, sex, height, weight, goals, activity level, allergies, and a summary of your recent diary. This data is used solely to generate the analysis or answer and is not used to train Google’s models. The app asks for your explicit consent before any data is shared with the AI provider for the first time; you can review or withdraw this consent at any time in Profile → Data sharing.
  • Cloud storage — stores meal photos.
  • Analytics service — anonymized app-usage data and crash reports.
  • Public food databases — matching scanned barcodes.

Subscriptions and payments are handled exclusively by Apple. We have data-processing agreements with all processors; their current list is available on request at [email protected]. We never sell your data.

Data storage and deletion

You can permanently delete your account and all its data at any time directly in the app (Profile → Account → Delete account). Deletion is irreversible and takes effect immediately.
